SingaporeConnect is proud to join these fellow professional associations:
- Chinese Software Professional Association (CSPA)
- Indonesian Professional Association (IPA)
- Korean IT Network
- Malaysian Professional & Business Association (MPBA)
- Singapore America Business Association (SABA)
to present the
Silicon Valley Professional Associations Golf Tournament 2010
on October 23, 2010 (Saturday).
This inaugural golf tournament will be held at the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in the Bay Area that is open to the public -- Coyote Creek Golf Club. Featuring a top-notch 18-hole golf course, Coyote Creek is a golfer's dream. While golfing at this fine course is guaranteed to be memorable, the networking opportunity to meet with business executives, professionals and members of the six distinguished Bay Area professional associations will be icing on the cake.
You are cordially invited to join us for a day of golfing fun and a sumptuous BBQ buffet dinner afterwards at $125 per golfer (with dinner) for SingaporeConnect Members, and $135 for non- SingaporeConnect members. Golfing starts at 11.00 am.
We have a fine reception starting at 5.00 pm and if you wish to join us then for socialising and networking, it is just $30 ($40 for non-SingaporeConnect members) inclusive of a delicious dinner starting at 6.30 pm.
Member Registrants are subject to verification. If you are interested in playing, but do not want to sign up and pay yet, please email email@example.com to find out who the other SingaporeConnect participants are. After you purchase a ticket, we will contact you to inquire on your golfing proficiency, i.e. handicap number, if available, and discuss with you which flight you can be best slotted in. We need this information by Oct 7 to inform the Golf Club of the number of flights we need to book. We will try to match golfers into flights (likely four per flight) by proficiency so as to ensure a good game and pace. Each flight of golfers will tee off at 10 minute intervals. Thanks in advance for your co-operation.

At the very least, we would like to form a Golf Team of four players. If you can play, please do consider signing up! Perhaps you might win a prize too! We've been told by golfers that the Coyote Creek Golf Club is very nice indeed and the price offered is very reasonable compared to playing on your own. For those not golfing, we have a fine venue and menu for the dinner as well, plus an opportunity to mingle with members and friends of these other associations.
We would also like volunteers to help with the event. You can volunteer for the morning or evening, or both. Volunteers have free admission (but not to play golf) and we'll provide a lunchbox (for morning) or the dinner (for evening). We would like either one volunteer (for the whole day), or two (one morning, one evening). Please reply to this mail if you are interested in volunteering.
