Hike, Eat, Shop in San Mateo on Labor Day
Wondering what to do for Labor day? To start off, come join us at Sawyer Camp trail for a hike! The trail is paved with very mild elevation. So children and bikes are welcome! No pets though.
We will meet near the bathroom/bench at the San Mateo entrance (where Crystal Springs meet Skyline).
That segment of the trail is about 6 miles total. However, we will not be hiking the whole 6 miles. We will adjust according to the team's requirements. There are markers along the trail so the group can stay together for the most part but if there are stragglers who prefer shorter or longer hikes, they are welcome to stray from the group with no fear of getting lost (it's a fairly level straight paved route).
After the hike, which should end around noon, we will go for dim sum lunch in downtown San Mateo.
Those who do not wish to hike, can meet us directly at Champagne Seafood Restaurant. After dim sum, those who want to go shopping can join us at Ross store to check out the Labor Day Sale!
