Event Photos: 2012-08 SF Hike
Please join us for an afternoon of hiking around the historical museum of the California Palace of the Legion of Honor. It has a collection of over 6,000 historical items from ancient Egypt to 19th Century French Impressionist paintings. After the hike, we'll enjoy a free organ recital that is unique in the world.
We plan to meet at the entrance facing the fountain, walk along Land’s End Trail, see gorgeous views of the Golden Gate Bridge along the El Camino del Mar, and end the walk near the beautiful mansions of Lake Street.
On our way back to the Legion of Honor we might stop at the Fresh & Easy market for a bio-break. Finally we cap our beautiful day returning to the Museum of the Legion of Honor at 4 pm and listen to a free classic organ concert.
This event is co-hosted with the Indonesian Professionals Association (IPA), so you'll get to meet their members as well. (Their registration link)
The hike starts at 2.00 pm, right after the SF Food Festival, should you choose to partake. However, if you prefer to eat dim sum, you may also join the IPA group earlier at 11.30 am at the Ton Kiang Restaurant then proceed for the hike.
