Kampong Collective grew out of Singapore Festival 2025, where more than 3,300 people gathered around food, art, performance, and connection.
I really enjoyed the immersive theatre — I didn’t expect live actors, which was a wonderful surprise. I also loved the artwork, especially the backdrop painting, lion architecture and the beautiful flower displays. - Quote from an attendee at the Singapore Festival 2025
In that gathering, they saw a deeper hunger: for spaces where artists, makers, founders, small businesses, and families could be seen, supported, and connected.
Today, they carry that spark forward through year-round experiences, marketplaces, and programs that open doors for what comes next.

Two zones:
Kampong Kopi — The Story You Can Taste: Step into our home, memory, food, identity & belonging
A 20-minute immersive theater experience where the audience isn't just watching, they're part of the kopitiam itself.
Step inside a kopitiam on its opening day — steam rising, flour in the air, and a crew racing to rediscover the taste of home. Kampong Kopi is an original interactive one-act play that invites guests into the heart of Southeast Asian memory, family, and belonging. It's theatre you don't just watch — you become part of it.
As recipes go missing and traditions collide, the audience joins the chaos, helping the characters find what was never written down: the feeling of home. You'll hear the clink of kopi cups, smell pandan and ginger, and watch a brand-new dish — My Sweet Ondeh — come to life from instinct rather than measurement. Every moment is alive with humor, heart, and the kampong spirit, where food becomes storytelling and everyone has a seat at the table.
Presented as part of Spice & Story, Kampong Collective's signature 2026 experience, Kampong Kopi unfolds within a larger celebration of Southeast Asian creativity and culture. When the curtain falls, guests leave with a box of five curated tastings — each one a story in edible form, a reminder that home isn't found in a recipe, but in the people who share it.
Come curious. Come hungry. Come ready to be part of the story.
